OUR VISION:

Loving God by Loving People into our Faith Family.

Supporting Scripture: Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” -Matthew 22:37-40

OUR Values:

  1. God’s Word: We value God’s Word as the guide for all we do as we seek to obey God empowered by the Holy Spirit and the grace of Jesus Christ.

If you love me, you will obey what I command.” -John 14:15

  2. Prayer: We value Spirit-filled prayer as the way we listen to God, make decisions, and find grace in time of need.

“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.” -Romans 8:26-27

  3. Worship: We value worshiping together with our faith family in ways that glorify God and enable people of all ages to experience the joy, peace, and hope of God’s Kingdom.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” -Hebrews 10:24-25

  4. Relationships: We value loving people by respecting where they are in their spiritual journey and by lovingly encouraging them to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” -John 13:34-35.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.” -II Peter 3:18

  5. Justice & Mercy: We value obeying God’s call to love and serve those who are suffering from pain, loss, or injustice in order to help bring God’s wholeness to a broken world.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”-John 3:16

“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” -Micah 6:8

The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ -Matthew 25:40
